What products does Cape Financial Loans offer?

We offer personal loans that range between R1000 and R3 000 000 with repayment terms from 12 to 240 months. We also offer Debt Consolidation and pay the balance directly into your bank account.

How do I apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans?

Simply click on the ‘Apply’ button and fill in your personal details. From there one of our consultants will get in touch with you and talk you through the application process. Once we receive your completed application form and requested documentation your application is ready to be processed. You are also welcome to call our call centre on +27 (0) 112 197 708 should you wish to apply telephonically or ask any of our specialized consultants for assistance.

What documents do I need to apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans?

You will need a clear copy of your Identity Document, a copy of your most recent payslip, and a copy of your latest two months bank statements. Please note that we do not accept internet bank statements.
If you are applying for Debt Consolidation, we will also need a copy of the relevant settlement letters.

How old do I have to be to apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans?

We will only accept your application if you are between 21 and 80 years of age.

How long does it take for my loan to be paid into my bank account?

Once your loan has been approved, we may payout as quickly as that very same day. If not, you will be paid the next morning. If your application is approved the day before a non-working day, then your loan will be paid out on the first subsequent working day.

If I already have a loan with Cape Financial Loans, can I apply for an additional loan?

Absolutely, as long as you have paid at least three consecutive monthly installments on your current loan with us, you are more than welcome to apply for an additional loan.

Can I apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans if I am a weekly/fortnightly earner?

Yes, we welcome applications from weekly and fortnightly earners. Weekly earners must submit their latest four consecutive payslips and fortnightly earners must submit their latest two consecutive payslips.

Can I apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans on behalf of a relative or friend?

Yes, for your protection and security you are allowed to apply for a loan in your name and on behalf of a relative or friend.

If I am an owner of a business can my business apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans?

Yes, we only offer loans to individuals and Institutions or Companies.

Can I apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans if I am listed on any Credit Bureau DataBase?

Yes, this is not a problem as long as you are not under or have applied for administration, debt review, or sequestration.

Can I apply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans if I am under or have applied for Administration or Debt Review?

Yes, we will accept your application if you are under or have applied for Administration, Debt Review, or Sequestration.

Can I reapply for a loan with Cape Financial Loans if my previous application was not successful?

Yes, we grant our clients the opportunity to reapply. For a positive result, we suggest that our clients reapply in the event that their circumstances have changed favorably.

Do I have to be employed in order to qualify for a loan with Cape Financial Loans?

Yes, we will only accept your application if you are permanently employed and have been working at your place of employment for more than six months.

What is the minimum salary requirement?

You need to earn at least anR2000 net salary, per month in order to apply for a loan with us.

Do I have to have my own bank account to apply for a loan?

Yes, you do need to have your own bank account. It is also very important for us to see that your monthly salary reflects in your bank account. Please make sure that you give us the details of the bank account that your salary is deposited into.

Can I apply if I don’t receive payslips?

Yes, you can.

Can I apply if I am paid my salary in cash or by cheque?

Yes, your salary is paid in cash.
